Skin clinics

Skin clinic software that charts head to toe.

92health gives a skin clinic its own workspace: the skin history taken before the doctor walks in, each region charted right and left or marked on a body map, PASI and EASI worked out, and every biopsy followed to its report.

The visit01

One skin visit, step by step.

Each step is a screen built for the person doing it. Scroll through them in the order a patient meets them.

  1. Front desk

    Skin visits

Reception books the visit under the dermatology department, and it opens on the skin workspace for whoever picks it up. Nurses land on the work-up, doctors on the exam.

  2. Work-up

Skin history and the patient's scores

The nurse records vitals, the Fitzpatrick skin type, skin cancer and mole history, family history and sun exposure, and asks about pregnancy and contraception only where it applies. The DLQI total from the paper form and an itch score from 0 to 10 sit beside them.

  3. Doctor's exam

Head to toe, right and left

Each region, from the scalp to the nails, is charted right and left from pick lists that find a word as you type. The same findings can be marked on a body map from the front and the back, numbered where they sit and grouped by finding. Fill normal and copy last visit save the typing.

  4. Scores

    PASI and EASI worked out

A psoriasis diagnosis offers PASI and an eczema diagnosis offers EASI. The doctor adds the score to the visit, charts its rows, and the total and its severity band are worked out, with the weights for a child under 8 taken from the date of birth. Compare sets earlier visits beside this one.

  5. Procedures

Biopsies and procedures in the clinic

Punch, shave and excision biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, intralesional steroid and nail avulsion each walk their own steps: consent, preparation, the procedure, the specimen and aftercare. The charge lands on the visit's bill.

  6. Prescriptions

    Topical medicines, written for skin

A cream or an ointment lands as apply a thin layer, with regimens such as twice a day for two weeks one tap away. Medicines after a procedure are written the same way, with the site they go on, and the prescription goes to the pharmacy counter.

  7. Documents

A visit summary the clinic lays out

The visit summary prints the complaint, the findings by region, the scores, the marks on the body map, the procedure with its specimens, the medicines and the plan. The clinic renames, orders and hides its sections once, in settings.

Biopsies02
From the pot to the report

Every specimen is followed until a doctor has read its report.

Each pot is labelled A, B, C on the case and sent either as a histopathology order on the visit or to an outside lab named on the pot. The lab's report is attached to its own pot, and a doctor marks it reviewed.

A list of the specimens still waiting shows how many days each has been out and flags one with no result after 14 days. A re-excision is raised straight from the pot that needs it.

  • Pots labelled A to Z on each case
  • Sent on the visit's lab order or to an outside lab
  • One report per pot, reviewed by a doctor
  • Specimens waiting, with the days since sent

The rest of the clinic03

The rest of the clinic, on the same record.

The pharmacy, the counter and the books run on the same patient record, so a patient is registered once and pays once.

Plain answers04

Questions skin clinics ask.

Does it work out PASI and EASI?
Yes. Add the score to the visit and chart its rows for each region, and the total and its severity band are worked out. EASI uses the weights for a child under 8 when the date of birth says so, and asks for a date of birth before it gives a total.
Can the doctor mark findings on a body diagram?
Yes. Each region can be charted as a table, right and left, or on a body map seen from the front and the back. Marks are numbered where they sit and grouped by finding, and one finding can be applied to many marks at once. The clinic chooses which view opens first.
Can it follow a biopsy to the report?
Yes. Each specimen pot is labelled on the case, sent to your lab or an outside one, and its report is attached to it. A doctor marks every report reviewed, and a list shows the specimens still waiting.
How long does it take to go live?
Usually within a week. We set up departments, doctors, fees and stock with your team, import your patient register and stock from spreadsheets, and train the front desk, nurses and doctors in a few hours.
