General practice

An EMR for the general OPD, from token to bill.

92health runs a general practice clinic's day: the queue at the desk, the nurse's vitals, a note drafted from the consult, the prescription sent to the pharmacy and the bill collected at the counter.

The consult, drafted as a SOAP note

Schematic
The visit01

One OPD visit, step by step.

Each step is a screen built for the person doing it. Scroll through them in the order a patient meets them.

  1. Front desk

    Tokens, walk-ins and QR check-in

Reception registers walk-ins and checks in bookings, and each visit gets a token in the day's queue. Patients can scan the clinic's QR and check themselves in on their own phone. Each visit is sorted as new, review or revisit, and the fee is raised at registration.

  2. Nurse

    Vitals and history

The nurse records vitals, with BMI worked out, and fills in the allergies and past conditions reception noted at registration. The doctor sees them at the top of the consult.

  3. Doctor

A note drafted from the conversation

Record the consult and a SOAP note is drafted from it, in the structure the doctor signs. A consult that moves between English and Hindi or Tamil still becomes one note, and diagnoses carry ICD-10 codes.

  4. Prescriptions and orders

    e-Rx, lab orders and referrals

The dose defaults from the medicine's form, tapers are written as dated steps, and the prescription goes to the pharmacy counter and prints as a PDF. Lab tests are ordered from the catalog, and referral letters go to specialists in the clinic's directory.

  5. Documents

    Visit summary and certificates

A visit summary is filed when the consult is wrapped up. Medical certificates for sick leave, fitness to resume, attendance and travel carry a QR that shows anyone the dates, never the diagnosis.

  6. Billing

    One counter for the day

Reception settles the consult, pharmacy and procedure bills on one payment, by cash, UPI or a Razorpay link, and closes the day with a day sheet.

Notes02
From consult audio

The note is drafted while you see the patient.

The doctor records the consult and sees the transcript as it is taken. When the consult ends, a SOAP note is drafted from it, with the history, the examination, the assessment and the plan in their sections.

Nothing is filed until the doctor signs it, and an addendum can be added afterwards.

  • A live transcript while the consult is recorded
  • Subjective, objective, assessment and plan drafted from the audio
  • ICD-10 codes on the diagnoses
  • Note templates and addendums

The scribe

Listening layer

Schematic. Layouts are simplified, and every name, number and result shown is invented.

The rest of the clinic03

The rest of the clinic, on the same record.

The pharmacy, the lab and the books run on the same patient record, so a patient is registered once and pays once.

Plain answers04

Questions clinics ask.

Does the AI write the note for the doctor?
It drafts the note from the recorded consult. The doctor reads it, edits it and signs it, and nothing is filed without that signature.
Which languages does the scribe understand?
Consults in English, Hindi and Tamil, including a sentence that starts in one language and finishes in another.
Can patients check themselves in?
Yes. The patient scans the QR at reception, finds their booking or registers on their own phone, and lands in the arrivals tray for reception to accept.
Is it ABDM compliant?
Patient records link to ABHA numbers, and clinical records are kept in FHIR R4, the format ABDM exchanges. Sharing records through the ABDM gateway is switched on for each facility.
How long does it take to go live?
Usually within a week. We set up departments, doctors, fees and stock with your team, import your patient register and stock from spreadsheets, and train the front desk, nurses and doctors in a few hours.
Do you work with clinics outside Chennai?
Yes. It runs in the browser with no server at the clinic, so a clinic in Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur or Tirupati is set up the same way as one in Chennai. Much of the app is available in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
